Camel... The Only Way to Travel

What comes to mind when you think of "The Outback"? Hot? Snakes? Dingos? Big? Yes to all of those (except maybe hot since it's summer) but perhaps not the word "camel." To pass a Friday afternoon before we went on our big adventure into the Outback, we came across a camel tour during the sunset that promised "kangaroo sitings." Sold... tell us where to sign up.

So off we went.. Thinking back to a mule and ziplining excursion in Mexico, Piyusha was crossing her fingers that she wouldn't get stuck again with the runt of the litter. As it turned out, we ended up with BJ the Magnificent... the biggest camel of them all (we ended up sharing).

It did feel a little like we should have been in Egypt but then we spotted kangaroos!! And let me tell you, it is not easy to take pictures and hang on to a camel at the same time!

Stay tuned for the next installment... The Outback! Will we survive?? (let's just say Piyusha barely survived).

The trip count:
Injuries - Parimal: still 0, Piyusha still 1 (yay!)
Items lost - 0 all around! (Luckily Piyusha found her sunglasses under the bus seat)
